Scarred!!!!!

Hello Ladies!!!
I'm 43 and on my 3rd pregnancy.  I have a 14yr old and m/c last year.  I was told at 15 that chances of ever having children was next to none.  I sufferd from poly cystic ovaries.  Well at 27, surprise I was pregnant.  Complications pre-eclampsia and getational diabetes  Ended up in an emergency C-section but he was healthy.
We tried for years to get pregnant and had long given up, then surprise last year same time I was pregnant, m/c at 6 weeks fetus heart beat was 94 and I was bleeding and cramping.  One of the worst experiences in my life!  Now once again after giving up I'm pregnant again.  I'm 7 weeks and 3 days.  At 6 weeks 1 day had an ultrasound and baby's heart beat was 148 yeah!!!
But I'm scarred I've already gained 9 lbs and I'm barely eating.  I'm also concerned about my age and the health of this baby so much so that I'm afraid to be happy..... Anyone else scarred??

Yes! I am scared too! However I have not had as hard time as you. I have five children already and five grandchildren (and one coming in Sept). I am 40 and recently remarried. we tried right away to have one of our own as my husband has only a daughter and would like more. We got pregnant last year and went in for our ultrasound and could not see baby. I m/c a few weeks later and yes it is horrible! Now we are seven weeks and had a great ultrasound with babies heartbeat at 154! I am happy and nervous! Especially after they tell you all the risks! I am praying for us both! Congrats to you!

Wow five, you are blessed! I'm glad I'm not the only one who is scarred. Heart beat of 154 is good, strong. I just recieved my appointment information for genetic testing and almost died, as If I wasn't already scarred. I'm hoping good things for the both of us. I'm booked Sept 25 for my first test the nuclear transclucency or something like that where the measure the neck of the baby. I've got my fingers crossed that all goes well. I'm doing well I think I'm 16 weeks and my First trimester testing came out really well. I still worry every day and only feel relief when I'm at my appointments and get to see or hear the baby's heart beat. At my last OB appointment my doctor told me to breath and relax. So why can't I? Guess I'm still worried. I feel good and am happy just a little on edge. I have an OB appointment next week so hopefully it will buy me some comfort. How are things with you?

I know exactly how you feel! I am almost 16 weeks as well! I wish i had my own ultrasound and doppler at home so I can check the baby everytime I worry! We will have the quad bloodtest done next week and then a ultrasound in three weeks. Are you feeling your baby move yet? I think i do at times but nothing regular. i cant wait for it to be all the time. It is very reassuring! When is your actual due date? I bet we are close.

Glad to hear I'm not the only paranoid pregnant lady. If I could book an ultrasound every week just to make sure I would! I'm due April 11 but my OB wants to schedule a C-Section 2 weeks early so that will put me at 38 weeks. He said because of my history and blood pressure. I know I've felt the baby move but I get worried when I don't. Baby seems to like chocolate milk and orange juice (sugar) that's when I get to feel a little nudge. I'm also doing more testing next week. Hope everything goes well with your tests:). When are you due?

I am due April 13th. I too feel the little one move here and there and get nervous when it has been awhile. I am praying for us both! I know everything will turn out great!
